Non-landed private residential rents slipped 5.3% last year, HDB flat rents eased 2.1%: SRX
RENTALS of non-landed private residential properties eased 0.8 per cent in December 2014 compared to November 2014, according to SRX flash estimates. Non-landed private homes in all three regions, Core Central Region, Rest of Central Region and Outside Central Region, saw decreases in rents of 1.2 per cent, 0.6 per cent and 0.3 per cent respectively.
Overall non-landed private home rents for December were down 5.3 per cent from a year ago.
The SRX rental index for HDB flats dipped 0.4 per cent in December over the previous month and by 2.1 per cent for the whole of 2014.
