Partnering competitors - Reits find ways around disruption

REAL estate investment trusts (Reits) have their ways of dealing with competition from disruptors such as Airbnb and e-commerce, whose consumers tend to be more price- sensitive, they say.

One way is by working with the competition. The other is by changing their product range to not cross paths with their disruptors'.
