Riverbank@Fernvale residents will get to share 50 bicycles
Singapore
YET another property developer is catering to two-wheel riders as the cycling movement in Singapore gains traction. UOL Group Limited on Friday said it will launch Singapore's first bicycle- sharing facility for residents of Riverbank@Fernvale in Sengkang, with the company supplying 50 bicycles to be shared by the condominium's residents.
Residents of the 555-unit development, scheduled to be completed by early 2017, will be able to use the bicycles to commute to Sengkang MRT station, Kupang LRT station or Jalan Kayu - all a short distance away. Cyclists can also enjoy rides by the waters of Sungei Dekar and the Johor Straits as they travel along the area's North Eastern Riverine Loop park connector.
