IN light of India's plan to develop smart and sustainable cities, coupled with Singapore's experience and expertise in urban development and city planning, International Enterprise Singapore (IE Singapore) on Monday signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) under which the Republic will masterplan the new capital city for Indian state Andhra Pradesh, as well as its surrounding region.
Witnessing the MOU inked with the Infrastructure Corporation of Andhra Pradesh was Second Minister for Trade and Industry S Iswaran and Andhra Pradesh's Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu.
