Tokyo Disney Resort to undergo US$4.5b expansion

ORIENTAL Land Co, the owner of Tokyo Disney Resort, is planning a US$4.5 billion expansion of the project that includes doubling the size of a fantasy park currently featuring Snow White and Pinocchio rides.
The company has begun developing Fantasyland as part of the 500 billion yen (S$5.7 billion), 10-year plan and will also create a new themed port, to be part of the adjoining DisneySea Park, according to Oriental Land, based in Chiba prefecture, a Tokyo suburb.
