9,300 new homes to result from slew of en bloc sales, warns URA

Analysts are unperturbed. They point to a lag in supply, and say demand will mop up the redeveloped units in the pipeline

The 488-unit Normanton Park was sold en bloc for $830.1 million this month, more than $30 million over the reserve price. Ian Loh of Knight Frank Singapore told BT that the redeveloped site could house nearly 1,290 homes of an average size of 100 sq m gross floor area.
