Amprop, HPL, Temasek team up to redevelop two London projects
Kuala Lumpur
MALAYSIA'S Amcorp Properties Bhd (Amprop) is teaming again with Singapore's Hotel Properties Ltd (HPL) and UK developer Native Land to redevelop two existing properties on 2 hectares in Bankside opposite the River Thames in London. Temasek Holdings is also a party to the joint venture to redevelop Ludgate House and Sampson House.
Temasek, HPL and Amprop will each take a 30 per cent stake in Bankside Quarter (Jersey) Ltd - the special purpose vehicle set up for the project, of which the gross development value when completed is estimated at more than £1 billion (S$2 billion). The UK's Native Land will hold the remaining 10 per cent in Bankside Quarter.
