BLACKSTONE Group LP is selling the Manhattan offices that once housed The New York Times after completing renovations and signing new tenants including Yahoo Inc, said a person with knowledge of the plans.
Blackstone is seeking about US$525 million, or more than US$1,000 a square foot, for the top 12 floors of the 102-year-old property, said the person, who asked not to be identified because the planned sale is private.
