REAL estate consulting firm Edmund Tie has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with One RHT to produce and manage digital asset solutions for real estate corporate fundraising.
Building on the growing momentum of real estate tokenisation in Singapore, the partnership aims to provide investors with more choice and flexibility, the companies said in a joint statement on Friday.
Desmond Sim, chief executive officer of Edmund Tie, said: "As more and more technology-backed real estate projects come to fruition, we expect that real estate investment will be invigorated by increased investor access to quality property assets."
One RHT chief executive officer Jayaprakash Jagateesan said: "Our partnership opens exciting new possibilities as we unlock the immense potential of real estate tokenisation with next-gen digital solutions."
Under the MOU, One RHT will advise Edmund Tie on an array of subjects, including tax compliance, tokenisation, investor relations and intellectual property protection.
According to both parties, the MOU is aligned with the greening of Singapore's real estate. They noted that One RHT's team of sustainability consultants will also provide environmental, social and corporate governance solutions for property management and real estate development.
