FORMER Singapore director for research and advisory at Colliers International, Chia Siew Chuin, has joined CBRE's industrial and logistics team in Asia.

She has been appointed as director for advisory and transaction services, industrial and logistics, for Asia. Her appointment took effect from Wednesday.

Ms Chia will report to Dennis Yeo, CBRE managing director of advisory and transaction services, industrial and logistics, for Asia. Mr Yeo was formerly Singapore managing director at Colliers International.

CBRE said on Thursday that Ms Chia's appointment is in line with CBRE's strategic plan to develop the growth prospects of the industrial and logistics sector across Asia including China and India and build more extensive relationships across Asia.

"Siew Chuin's wealth of experience in the real estate sector is a valuable asset for CBRE. The team will leverage her research and consultancy expertise to spearhead the industrial thought leadership agenda to help our expanding client base align their business needs and future requirements with the latest trends analysis and research," said Mr Yeo.

Ms Chia's experience spans 20 years in real estate, of which 10 years were at Colliers International Singapore, where she led a team of six providing internal and external research and advisory services.
