HDB resale prices unchanged in Q3 from Q2
REFLECTING continued stabilisation of public housing prices, HDB resale prices remained unchanged in the third quarter from the second quarter.
But resale transactions slipped 5.5 per cent from the second quarter to 5,514 cases in the third quarter, the latest Q3 data from the Housing & Development Board shows.
The number of applications approved for subletting of HDB flats contracted by 8.8 per cent from a quarter ago to 10,789 cases.
HDB said that it will be offering about 5,090 new flats in Bedok, Bidadari, Kallang/Whampoa and Punggol in a Build-to-Order (BTO) exercise next month.
Some 5,000 balance flats will also be offered in a concurrent Sale of Balance Flats exercise.
