HDB resale prices up 0.7% in July; transactions down 13.7%: SRX
HDB resale prices rose 0.7 per cent in July compared to June.
The resale prices of three-room, four-room and five-room flats increased by 0.6 per cent, 0.3 per cent and 0.5 per cent respectively. On the other hand, the resale prices of executive flats decreased 0.4 per cent.
This was according to the SRX Property Price Index for HDB resale prices released on Thursday.
Year on year, prices have risen 0.8 per cent from July 2015; prices have declined by 10.9 per cent since the peak in April 2013.
In terms of transactions, resale volume fell 13.7 per cent in July to 1,573 flats resold, from 1,823 transacted units in June.
Year on year, resale volume was up 1.4 per cent compared to 1,552 units resold in July 2015. But resale volume was down by 56.9 per cent compared to its peak of 3,649 units in May 2010.
