Jefferies MD Rich Ford joins home-trading startup Roofstock

RICH Ford, a managing director in Jefferies Group's real estate investment banking group, left the firm to join Roofstock, an online trading platform for rental-home investors.
Mr Ford, 47, is now chief development officer of Roofstock, according to CEO Gary Beasley. The company was co-founded by Gregor Watson, chief revenue officer of Blackstone Group LP's rental-home finance firm, and Mr Beasley, former co-CEO of Starwood Waypoint Residential Trust, one of the largest US landlords of single-family homes.
