THOUSANDS of government workers will be moved from Manila to a new city that is being built in a former US military base, as Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte's administration seeks to ease a traffic gridlock in the capital.
The government and private companies are investing more than 50 billion pesos (S$1.3 billion) to build an administrative centre in New Clark City.
