Northstar to expand ERA brand in region with franchise rights
PRIVATE equity company Northstar Group has completed its purchase of the franchise rights to expand the ERA Real Estate brand in the Asia-Pacific region.
The rights, acquired from Hersing Corporation, will give Northstar access to 18 countries in the region, including Australia, China, Indonesia and Japan, the company said in a statement yesterday.
Demand for real estate in Asia Pacific will increase this year as economies get stronger and younger populations support domestic demand and lure investment, according to the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development.
