Office space in London bucks the Brexit trend with record rentals
Its resilience is evident in prime areas and buildings with exceptional features that can still command a premium
London
LONDON'S office market has foiled the Brexit pessimists and has remained resilient, with offices in exceptionally interesting buildings and areas achieving record rentals.
Estate agents Pilcher Hershman and CBRE, for example, negotiated a record rent of £250 (S$445) per square foot for a 2,703 sq ft space in London's Mayfair. The annual rent paid by Steadview Capital Management, a hedge fund, is a whopping £676,000.
