Property-tech company Showsuite partners Rajah & Tann, expands into legal tech
SINGAPORE-BASED property technology company Showsuite has signed a contract with law firm Rajah & Tann and is expanding into legal technological solutions, the company said on Friday.
The agreement with Rajah & Tann will see Showsuite's digital platform "streamline and automate back-end work processes and digitise legal documentations associated with the sales of new homes when acting for property developer clients", the company said in a statement.
Norman Ho, senior partner, corporate real estate at Rajah & Tann said: "Our collaboration with Showsuite will allow us to further harness the power of legal technology at Rajah & Tann, and help us to streamline the work processes of our development projects into a more structured workflow."
He added: "Not only will this bring about greater efficiency in delivering legal services to the developers, but it also cements our commitment to a sustainability focused legal practice."
Showsuite said that over S$4 billion worth of new homes in Singapore have been transacted on its digital booking platform since its launch in 2018. Its clients include GuocoLand, Hong Leong, CEL Development and Heeton Holdings.
Last month, the digital booking platform was used by GuocoLand to launch and transact its Midtown Modern project, Showsuite said.
Karamjit Singh, chief executive officer of Showsuite, said: "As we began to digitise transactions for property developers with our solutions, it has become very apparent to us the importance of having the whole eco-system on board in order to harness technology's full potential."
He added: "The agreement now with Rajah & Tann marks the start of a new milestone for Showsuite as we extend our technological offerings to law firms involved in the new home sales network."
