PRIVATE equity real estate company SC Capital Partners has partnered a team of data centre professionals to launch a pan-Asian data centre platform, SC Zeus Data Centers.

In a press statement on Tuesday (Mar 1), the Singapore-headquartered company said its new vertically integrated platform will serve as a one-stop solution to the various real estate strategies managed by SC Capital Partners.

SC Zeus Data Centers will offer design, investment management, asset management, leasing and sales, project management, operations as well as technical services for data centres across the Asia-Pacific region.

It is also headquartered in Singapore, with a presence in China, Japan and South Korea.

The platform recently committed US$500 million to its first investment in Seoul, South Korea, where it intends to develop a hyperscale data centre with a 45-megawatt (MW) IT load.

According to SC Capital Partners, the partnership also has an attractive pipeline in the Asia-Pacific with about 250 MW of total IT load.
