SCE to ensure Tanzania contract is transparent
G2G contracting method eradicates the slightest hint of corruption and gives project a high profile
SINGAPORE Cooperation Enterprise's (SCE) involvement is instrumental to the Tanzania master planning deal. By making this a government-to-government (G2G) project, it helps to get around a lot of the problems that plague businesses done in Third World countries.
For instance, a lack of efficient processes in these places often leads to slow progress of projects.
Kong Wy Mun, chief executive officer of SCE, said: "This G2G methodology would be important because then, it is viewed as a high profile project in the country, and there is reason for them to try to ensure that things move at a fast rate. That's one of the good things about having a G2G contracting method."
