Update: Developers sold 7,529 private homes in 2015, up from 7,316 units in 2014
DEVELOPERS sold 384 private homes in December 2015, down from 759 units in November 2015 but higher than the 230 units sold in December 2014.
The above figures exclude executive condos (EC), a public-private housing hybrid.
Inclusive of ECs, developers moved 508 units last month, again lower than the 945 units in November. In December 2014, the figure was 406 units.
These figures were released by Urban Redevelopment Authority on Friday.
Based on preliminary estimates for the whole of 2015, developers sold 7,529 private homes excluding ECs, up slightly from 2014's figure of 7,316 units.
They also found buyers for 2,562 EC units last year, which was higher than the 1,578 EC units in 2014.
Hence, inclusive of ECs, developers sold a total of 10,091 units last year, up from 8,894 units in 2014.
