URA launches Chong Kuo Road site for sale, releases reserve site at Cuscaden Road for application
THE government has launched a site at Chong Kuo Road for sale under the Confirmed List of the second-half 2017 Government Land Sales (GLS) programme.
It has also made available a site at Cuscaden Road for application under the Reserve List. A plot on the reserve list goes up for tender after a developer lodges an acceptable minimum bid.
Together, these two sites can potentially yield about 250 residential units, said the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Singapore on Tuesday.
The tender for the site at Chong Kuo Road will close on Jan 30, 12 noon - timed with the tender closing for two other residential sites at Handy Road and Sumang Walk (executive condominium) under the Confirmed List that will be launched for sale in November and December 2017 respectively.
The 99-year leasehold site at Chong Kuo Road spanning 4,282.9 square metres has a maximum building height of five storeys, which translates to permissible gross floor area of 5,997 sq m. It is close to a wide range of eating outlets along Sembawang Road. Sembawang Country Club, Orchid Country Club and Yishun Sports Hall are also a short distance away.
The Cuscaden Road site under the Reserve List has a maximum building height of 100 metres and a permissible gross floor area of 16,024 sq m. This 99-year leasehold site has a land area of 5,722.6 sq m and is located near the prime Orchard Road shopping belt and the Botanic Gardens.
