URA releases 1.1 ha white site at Central Boulevard
THE Urban Redevelopment Authority of Singapore has released a 1.1-hectare 99-year leasehold white site at Central Boulevard in Marina Bay.
The parcel has a gross plot ratio of 13.0 times, which could yield about 141,309 square metres of potential gross floor area, and the future building may be built up to about 50 stories. About 100,000 sq m will be set aside for office use.
The site sits on the southern corner of the intersection of Central Boulevard and Raffles Quay, across the street from the Lau Pa Sat food centre.
As a white site, the development can include non-office uses such as residential, retail, hotel and serviced apartments. Retail uses such as shops, restaurants and outdoor refreshment areas will be capped at 5,000 sq m.
