Dinesh Singh Dhillon is new president of Law Society of Singapore
The vice-president positions will be held by Professor Tan Cheng Han and Daniel Koh
[SINGAPORE] The Law Society of Singapore has appointed 21 new office bearers for 2026.
Dinesh Dhillon will take up the mantle as president, said the society in a statement on Monday (Nov 17).
He replaces Lisa Sam, who had been president since 2024.
The vice-president positions will be held by Professor Tan Cheng Han and Daniel Koh, while the position of treasurer will be filled by Peggy Yee.
Dinesh, reflecting on his appointment, said that The Law Society of Singapore will continue to serve its members as well as the public interest, by ensuring that the highest standards of the profession are adhered to.
Dinesh, who practises international arbitration and litigation, is the co-head at Allen & Gledhill’s International Arbitration Practice, according to the firm’s website.

He is also the chairman of Pro Bono SG, as well as co-chair of the Asia Pacific Regional Forum of the International Bar Association and the Legal and Intellectual Property Rights Committee of The American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore.
Dinesh was called to the Singapore Bar in 1995 and earned a graduate certificate in international arbitration from the National University of Singapore in 2004. THE STRAITS TIMES
