[SINGAPORE] A critical enabler for Asia’s aerospace ambitions, the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) industry will come under the lens at a roundtable held by The Business Times (BT) on Wednesday (Sep 3).

The invite-only event is presented by aircraft engine manufacturer and system provider GE Aerospace. It brings together public and private sector leaders to discuss how to innovate and work together for resilience and sustainable growth.

Titled “Advancing MRO for a Resilient Aerospace Industry in Asia-Pacific”, it will cover topics such as navigating post-pandemic growth, strengthening supply chains, addressing talent gaps and transforming through technology and innovation.

“With the region’s aerospace sector experiencing substantial growth, this roundtable is a timely opportunity for key players to discuss emerging challenges and opportunities,” said BT editor Chen Huifen. “It’s a chance to foster collaboration and explore new ways to innovate within the industry and beyond.”

Held at SPH Media’s Studio+65, the event will begin with a keynote address by Nakul Gupta, vice-president of sales and general manager for Asia-Pacific at GE Aerospace.

The panel discussion, moderated by BT transport correspondent Derryn Wong, will feature three panellists:
