[SINGAPORE] Sixteen people, aged 61 to 93, have died from complications linked to Covid-19, taking Singapore's virus death toll to 280.
Twelve were men and 4 were women, the Ministry of Health (MOH) said on Thursday (Oct 21).
Of the 12 men, 11 were Singaporeans and permanent residents, while the remaining 1 was a Malaysian work permit holder. The 4 females were Singaporeans.
Seven were vaccinated, 8 were unvaccinated, and 1 was partially vaccinated.
All except 1 vaccinated case had underlying medical conditions, MOH said in its daily update, without giving further details.
Thursday was the 32nd day in a row that deaths from Covid-19 were reported.

There were 3,439 new Covid-19 infections in total, MOH said, comprising 2,937 new cases in the community, 500 in migrant worker dormitories and two imported cases.
The local cases included 492 people above 60 years old.
The total number of cases in Singapore now stands at 162,026.
