Electronics weightage in output index cut

SINGAPORE'S monthly index of industrial production has been rebased from base year 2011 to 2015, to reflect the latest structure of the manufacturing sector.
The electronics and chemicals clusters no longer account for as large a share on the index as before, while weights of the biomedical manufacturing, transport engineering, precision engineering, and general manufacturing clusters have been upped.
