BUSINESS conditions weakened for the sixth straight quarter and firms stayed glum, even as manufacturing re-emerged the best-performing sector - or at least showed less deterioration than the others - in the latest Business Times-Singapore University of Social Sciences (BT-SUSS) Business Climate Survey.
The quarterly survey found that sales, profits, and orders or new business all weakened in the third quarter, though at a slowing pace.
