BETTER and more convenient air connectivity between Singapore and the countries in South Asia would be a significant boon for the airlines, the tourism sector and investments, said Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on Monday.
There are some 400 flights between Singapore and India each week with every plane packed to capacity, and Mr Lee opined that any extra flights to the schedule would also be fully taken up because of the heavy demand.
