Singapore and Sri Lanka launch FTA talks

SINGAPORE and Sri Lanka launched negotiations for a bilateral free trade agreement (FTA) on Monday, one that aims to promote stronger economic ties and enhance trade flows.
The deal inked at the Istana will help lower barriers of entry and provide increased market access for companies from the two countries, said the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
