THE planned Rapid Transit System (RTS) linking Singapore and Johor Bahru will be connected by a high bridge, and plans are now underway for Singapore and Malaysia to ink a legally binding deal on the project by the end of 2017.
At a press conference alongside Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak in Putrajaya on Tuesday, Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said the two sides had settled on a high-bridge crossing after also considering building either a low bridge or a tunnel.
