Singapore to release advance Q4 GDP data on Jan 4
[SINGAPORE] Singapore will provide advance estimates of gross domestic product (GDP) for the fourth quarter and for 2015 at 8 am (0000 GMT) on Jan. 4, the Ministry of Trade and Industry said on Monday.
A quarterly survey by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) earlier this month showed that economists expect GDP to expand by 1.4 per cent on a year-on-year basis in the fourth quarter, down from 1.9 per cent growth in the third quarter.
The survey showed that full-year growth for 2015 was expected to be 1.9 per cent.
