Singaporeans expect inflation to rise in medium and long term: survey

    SINGAPOREANS' expectations of inflation in a quarterly poll has risen from three months ago, due to domestic price pressures and a tighter labour market.

    According to the June Singapore Index of Inflation Expectations (SInDEx) by the Singapore Management University (SMU), they now expect headline inflation to rise to 3.35 per cent in a year's time.
