DESPITE supply-chain disruptions over the past year, Singapore's key exports in December capped off a year of strong growth, and economists believe the momentum is likely to carry into 2022.

Non-oil domestic exports (NODX) rose 18.4 per cent year on year in December, helped by an increase in shipments of both electronic and non-electronic products, data from Enterprise Singapore (ESG) showed on Monday (Jan 17).

December's showing marks the 13th straight month of expansion, even if the momentum has eased slightly from the previous month's 24.2 per cent gain.
