Singapore's non-oil domestic exports post 11.5% y-o-y growth in Nov
SINGAPORE'S non-oil domestic exports recovered to post a 11.5 per cent year-on-year jump in November after a 12 per cent plunge in the previous month, according to the latest trade data released by International Enterprise Singapore.
Month-on-month, the figures from the trade promotion agency show the NODX bounced back from a seasonally-adjusted 3.6 per cent dip in October to increase 13.1 per cent last month.
Except for Japan, Thailand and Indonesia, NODX shipments to all top 10 markets rose in November, with the EU (up 48.3 per cent against the previous month), Hong Kong (up 38.1 per cent) and China (up 15.8 per cent) the biggest contributors to the increase.
The electronic NODX gained 3.5 per cent year-on-year last month, after a 6 per cent drop in October. The non-electronic NODX was up 15.3 per cent against a 14.6 per cent fall in the previous month.
Non-oil re-exports grew 3.1 per cent in November following a 9 per cent plunge in October, according to the IE Singapore numbers.
