SINGAPORE is among the lowest-taxed economies in South-east Asia and among economically advanced nations as a whole, according to a report issued on Tuesday by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
Only Indonesia ranks lower than Singapore in terms of the ratio of taxes to gross domestic product (GDP) in six Asian nations surveyed by the OECD - Japan, South Korea, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.
