Unsustainable for productivity gains to lag wage growth: MTI study

THE average wage growth for resident workers in Singapore outpaced productivity gains over the last decade, and also in the more recent five-year period from 2010 to 2015.
But this trend is not sustainable in the long run, says a new study published in the latest edition of the Economic Survey of Singapore.
