DURING Happy Fish Swim School’s lessons for children, parents get in the water too – and teach their own children, with guidance from instructors.

Founder Tan Jian Yong’s dream was to build a culture where parents teach their children how to swim, just as they teach children how to walk.

“Parents are often scared to put their children in the water, especially in a swim class held at a public pool. Having them join the class (in Happy Fish) solves this problem,” he says.
