Period-care startup Blood takes its corn-based sanitary pads across the region
Once rejected by major retailers, the brand is now in more than 6,000 stores across Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia
WHEN husband-and-wife duo Caleb Leow and Tan Peck Ying started their period-pain-relief business in 2014, few major retailers took them seriously.
Then known as PS Love, the company sold disposable adhesive heat pads to tackle menstrual pain.
“Around 2015, when we were still really sensing the retail market, obviously we approached the big retailers. But the feedback we received was that we were too small,” said Tan.
