From research officer to mechanical engineer: MOM highlights thousands of entry-level fresh grad jobs
These have salaries ranging from S$2,300 to S$5,000
[SINGAPORE] Industries such as manufacturing and construction each have hundreds of entry-level job vacancies for fresh graduates, the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) highlighted on Wednesday (Sep 17).
It provided a list of top three entry-level jobs across 15 industries and the number of such vacancies available.
These private-sector jobs have a salary range of S$2,300 to S$5,000, which MOM said were “typical starting salaries for tertiary-educated entrants”.
The list was provided in conjunction with the latest quarterly Labour Market Report, which showed a rise in the unemployment rate for workers under 30, even as overall job vacancies remained high.
Here are the six industries with the largest number of such vacancies.
The other industries covered were wholesale trade; retail trade; transportation and storage; accommodation; food and beverage services; financial and insurance services; real estate services; administrative and support services; and arts, entertainment and recreation.
