Arkphire acquires Singapore's Generic Tech in Asia boost

SINGAPOREAN IT solutions company Generic Technologies has been acquired by Ireland-based IT company Arkphire as part of the latter's Asia-Pacific expansion. While the deal sum is undisclosed, Arkphire is expected to invest 3.25 million euros (S$5 million) in Generic Technologies.
As part of the deal, Arkphire told The Business Times it will take on a team of up to 15 people, bringing its global workforce to 240 across offices in Ireland, the UK, Brazil and Singapore. The company opened a regional office in Singapore last year.
