Bringing automation to clinics

WITH digital appointments and registration, some general practitioner (GP) clinics in Singapore no longer need receptionists, said local software vendor Plato Medical.
“We are the only software where you can run a fully automated front desk, so we have some clinics where doctors don’t run with front-desk staff anymore,” noted co-founder Remi Kanji.
The company’s clinic management system (CMS), Plato, allows the automation of front-desk processes such as appointment scheduling, patient registration and billing.
