Doubling of paternity leave: SMEs fear impact on manpower

    WITH manpower concerns and rising operational costs continuing to weigh on SMEs, bosses may be slow to take up the call to double paternity leave to two weeks.

    This is particularly so given that raising the re-employment age from 65 to 67 is unlikely to benefit them as much, since most SMEs already have flexible human resource (HR) frameworks when it comes to hiring senior employees.
