THERE'S an app for everything, including one by Volvo Trucks to help logistics companies reduce fuel costs and maximise profits with data from the Dynafleet telematics system.

First launched in 1994 and introduced to Singapore in late 2014, Dynafleet uses data-driven technology to track and analyse numerous aspects of truck driving, from fuel consumption to a driver's braking and accelerating habits.

Location tracking also enables fleet owners to maximise productivity in dispatching trucks, and all this information can be accessed through a mobile app.
