Globaltronic Precision: From semiconductors to aircraft
FOUNDED in 2002, Globaltronic Precision is one company that leveraged its expertise in precision machining for the semiconductor industry to start serving the aerospace industry in 2006.
Founder and director Christopher Foo said it was a strategic decision to diversify for business stability, and the company has not stopped at aerospace in its quest for new business. It now supplies parts to the medical and oil and gas industries, and aims to be a world-class supplier of high precision machined parts in the aerospace, medical/pharmaceutical, optical, semiconductor, oil and gas, and machine tool industries.
Globaltronic's first aerospace customer was a company in the US. Over the years, it has produced parts for helicopters and military and civil aircraft, including the Boeing 777, 787 and 737 aircraft.
