Haulio and Avantida team up to use shipping containers more efficiently

SINGAPOREAN logistics player Haulio is partnering Belgian company Avantida to offer container "street turn" services, in a move to improve the efficiency of container usage.

A street turn refers to the practice of reusing a container, emptied of its contents, for other activities. The container would otherwise have been returned to a depot, where it would have sat empty. Street turns thus help shipping lines make better use of their equipment.
