Lessons from the circuit breaker
IT has been more than a year since Covid-19 crippled businesses. A silver lining appeared last Dec 28, when Singapore moved into Phase 3 of the reopening of its economy.
But with the recent increase in the number of community infections, the city-state has found itself back in Phase 2 (Heightened Alert); event capacity has once again been cut, and dining in F&B outlets stopped.
The measures are a reminder that the economic challenges brought on by the pandemic are not going away yet, and businesses must remain nimble to overcome these hurdles.
