Seasoned operators find ways to stay relevant

    WITH more than 150 years between them, clothing tailor CYC Made To Measure and consumer goods supplier Lam Soon Singapore are seasoned businesses. But they face their share of difficulties dealing with disruption, not least that brought about by the current coronavirus pandemic.

    Since the virus outbreak deepened in February this year, CYC has taken to producing reusable face masks and setting up an e-commerce front as retail sales "dropped tremendously", said its managing director, Fong Loo Fern.
