Shooting beyond wedding photos

WHEN Annabel Law first started out as a wedding photographer, she would always be mistaken by her client's relatives as the bride's friend.
Not only did she find it tough at a time when it was uncommon to be a female photographer, she says she also had to deal with the misconception that women were not supposed to wield a camera.
But things have changed, she says. In recent years, more women have taken up photography professionally and are carving out a career.
