Strategies for rebound
Anthony Wong, Founder, Creative Eateries
1. Don't plan too far ahead. Don't over invest in e-platform. Think mid term (three to six months) and make adjustment along the way. Many SMEs focus on the front end of the business. However, during this crisis, a company with a strong back of the house would have managed the business better in the last few months. If the back end support of the company is not strong, it will be good to put in more effort in building a stronger backend from accountings to HR to Marcom and corp services.
2. Focus on your people. Your team. They are going through as much uncertainties as the head of organisation. This is about the best time for build a company culture, if there is none; or strengthen it if there is one in place. Together with them, rebuild the business one day at a time.
