Successes that grew out of setbacks, missteps

WHILE breaking into their respective new markets and forging ahead, Udders co-owner Wong Peck Lin and Jean Yip group managing director Mervin Wee both faced their fair share of challenges during the teething phase of their now established companies.

Developing sharp business acumen on the fly was paramount for both Ms Wong and Mr Wee, as neither had attended business school. Instead, a keen understanding of consumer needs, and expertise in their products has led their respective companies to a breakthrough.
